Old Town Trolley Supports our Veterans, Children from our Community and Many Other Worthy Causes.
Supporting our Veterans
It is both an honor and a privilege for Old Town Trolley and San Diego SEAL tours to support and donate to various veterans groups of San Diego. We have donated trolleys for transportation service to the Vietnam Unit Memorial Monument Fund, the Eagle’s Wings, American Ex-Prisoners of War, the Distinguished Flying Cross Society and the Honor Flight San Diego.
St. Vincent DePaul Village Children’s Holiday Party
Old Town Trolley Tours and our Old Town Market host children from the St. Vincent DePaul village for an annual holiday party. Over 140 children, with one or both parents, live at the downtown San Diego shelter. Our CAST members and business partners donate over 150 gifts to the children at the shelter. The children enjoy pizza, sodas, piñatas and holiday fun. The highlight of the day is a personal gift to each child by Santa & Mrs. Claus. On the way home, the Trolley and its conductor take the children on an evening tour of holiday lights around the city.
October Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraising Event
Each October, Old Town Trolley supports UCSD Moores Cancer Center to raise awareness and money in our efforts to fight breast cancer. Our CAST members and business partners donate money, conduct raffles and conduct auctions to raise money for such a worthy cause. In addition, our wonderful and generous conductors donate daily tips.
